Sparks Fall 2008 Dance Show - Stop-Motion Video

Here's a stop-motion video compiled from 623 photos from the Sparks Dance Show last weekend.  Enjoy! In case you were wondering how I made this, I used iMovie on my mac.  It was really easy -- just create a new project, add all of the photos directly from Aperture (or iPhoto), set the duration to .5s each photo, drag a song from iTunes to add music, and export!

With the 4th of July right around the corner, most Americans will be viewing a fireworks show somewhere.  Last year was the first year I had an SLR camera (Nikon D40x - which I love btw) so it was the first time I could really take pictures of the fireworks.  It was a great learning experience for me.  I read some articles before I went out to get some ideas, but it really just came down to trial and error.  ...

As promised, here's another one of the time-lapse videos I created from the Sparks dance show. This one is from Friday night's pictures. Check out Viddler for the rest. Anyone that's done time-lapse videos from pictures: What software did you use? I couldn't find anything for my Mac that would let me change pictures fast enough. I ended up using my PC and Microsoft MovieMaker to make it look right. Let me know in the comments...
